I was in what seems an eternal quest for perfect exercise that can hold up plyometrics in my wood floor fitness bell, carpet . I tried mats of different thicknesses and made from different materials and so far all have been too slippery (no carpet texture become a death trap in the wooden floor ) or tear in a short time ( the typical big box mat yoga shop ) .

The carpet moved very little in my wood floors and after two training sessions , not a single mark on it .
