If you want to keep weak excuses for not being in shape at BYU, stop here.
When I arrived at BYU, my goals going into the best physical condition have met with strong opposition self-inflicted: bottomless cups of cereal in the Cannon Center and BYU Creamery ice cream. I quickly learned that the universe fitness college experience at BYU is a matter of balance and health is no exception.
No ice cream indulgences rule and do not forget to go to the gym or get up and move during the week. After talking with other universe fitness college students, I learned about the many resources available on campus to promote health and fitness.
The fitness of the pupil
The main resource I can think of on the campus of Brigham Young University in universe fitness shape is the student center fitness 293A located in the Smith Fieldhouse.
When I was a freshman, I remember writing a letter of request to the universe fitness of the pupil should be extended because it was always full and closed at certain times of day for classes.
In 2012, the gym has almost doubled in size from 5,960 square feet and is now open from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 to 22:00.
If you are really concerned about the gym is crowded is the online webcam RB (below) site to see for yourself how things areuniverse fitness!
Due to expansion, they almost always find the universe fitness machine or the weight you want. The center is equipped with treadmills , bike trainers, stair steppers, free weights and almost all exercises and weight machines imaginable to make your prayers Freshman 15!
Student Activity and Dance
I once had a roommate who signed for four of them in a single semester. Crazy ? Maybe, but once you see how much fun sports and dance BYU has to offer universe fitness, you can also see that four years is not enough time!
So I recommend you take classes that allow you to leave your comfort zone.
Sure it's fun to take a basketball, if you love basketball , but your time here at BYU can be the only chance you have to take universe fitness classes like ice skating, scuba diving, hula or badminton.
